Army of the Dead – This should be used a few seconds before an encounter begins or when changing phases. If you use it while executing your combo, it will result in a DPS loss and break your combo. Remember, the summons copy your Hit, Attack Power, and Haste at the moment of summoning.
Summoning a Gargoyle – This is best used when you have buffs and procs active because it copies these stats. It can’t be summoned instantly when the fight starts as it requires 60 Rune Power. You can start the fight in Unholy Presence to quickly gain the Rune Power, then summon the Gargoyle, and only then switch back to Blood Presence. This is because the gargoyle retains the Haste from Unholy Presence, but not the damage from Blood Presence.
Your Pet – Don’t overlook your pet. It can contribute a significant amount of damage.
